EIT required, PE preferred, or ability to achieve PE in one year.  3-5 years experience with development of drainage plans.  Land Desktop or Civil 3D.  Experience with agricultural waste system design and structural a plus. Consulting Duties

Dairy, Beef and Sheep Feedlots, Hog farms, Horse Farms and Ranches

Assist Agronomist with On-Point Advantage Program

• Develop site-specific programs for solid and liquid waste management
• Coordinate soil/manure/water/ wastewater sampling at sites
• Analyze and interpret soil/manure/wastewater results to make facility recommendations as well as cropping recommendations for clients
• Coordinate facility inspections and progress meetings with clients
• Set site specific goals with clients in order to bring them closer to regulatory compliance

Equipment

• Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of company vehicles and equipment
• Responsible for drilling supplies and tooling (bits, augers etc.)
• Responsible for sampling containers, boxes, bags, tools and miscellaneous supplies inventory

Other

• Miscellaneous drilling and sampling
• Septic percolation tests
• Lagoon and groundwater exploratory drilling
• Monitoring well sampling
• Maintenance and upkeep of weather stations

Full-time, hourly.  Must have agriculture background, be self motivated, and work well with others.  Requirements include running equipment, driving company vehicles, and pulling trailers.  Occasional long-distance driving with overnight stays.  Experience with computers.  Clean driving record necessary.
