Consulting & Management Staff

Tom Haren, Owner

Tom specializes in project development strategy and regulatory, political, and public relations. He is CHMM certified and holds licenses for CSS and Class D waste water operator.  He founded AGPRO in 2000.  Prior, he was the Vice President at Envirostock Inc. from 1997-2000 which he purchased in 2002. He was Vice President of Environmental Services at the Colorado Livestock Association (1997-2000), the Director of Natural Resources at Colorado Cattle Feeders Association (1994-1997), and started his career at Stewart Environmental Consultants in Fort Collins in 1992.

Tom received (with Honors) his Associate of Science in Environmental Science and Hazardous Materials from Front Range Community College in 1992.  He also studied Construction Management and Civil Engineering at Colorado State University and Biology at Appalachian State University, NC.  Tom served and was honorably discharged as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army and was a Drill Instructor in Fort Benning, GA and Fort Jackson, SC from 1988 to 1992.

Brandy Bair, Executive Administrator

Brandy has been an executive admin/office manager for many years.  She is Tom’s assistant, facilitates the company’s human resources, OSHA and safety matters and provides assistance to the CFO.

Ron Marshall, CFO & Financial Planning Consultant

Ron is owner of Marshall CPA's, LLC, a Certified Public Accountant and Financial Advisor for HD Vest. He founded Marshall CPA's, LLC in 1999 and provides accounting and financial consulting to a variety of clients, most of whom are involved in agriculture. Ron also serves as CFO for AGPRO. He has an extensive background in business and "Big 6" accounting environments, which serve in maximizing his client's profits and financial position. Ron graduated Cum Laude from Bartlesville Wesleyan College in Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Business Administration.

Olivia Cain, Director of Projects

Olivia currently serves as Director of Projects at AGPRO.  She assists with real estate transactions and oversees the finances, contracting, and administration of AGPRO’s projects.  She has a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University and is a licensed real estate broker. Prior to AGPRO, she was involved in accounting, financial planning, and futures trading for a large commercial livestock feeding operation in Colorado. She was actively involved in the family farming/livestock operation prior to her professional career, and is a Colorado native.

Planning & Relocation Staff

Tim Naylor, Planning Consultant

Tim is currently AGPRO’s Planning Consultant, involved in the due diligence and analysis process for all special use permitting, and facilitates zoning permits for our client’s operations.  He has been involved in the agriculture industry since 1987.  He was involved in the design, engineering, management and operations of several large poultry layer facilities in both Washington and Colorado.  He was instrumental in developing and implementing programs for food safety and quality including Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) plans and ISO 9000 under the USDA guidelines.  Tim was also involved with engineering review and geotechnical assessment for a geotechnical engineering firm in northern Colorado. 

Ryan Hostetler, Employing Broker / A.L.C.

Ryan is a Colorado native, who has been actively involved in agriculture from an early age.  He has enjoyed raising livestock and being involved in crop production along with being successful for over a decade in real estate - even earning the special Accredited Land Consultant designation.

Engineering Staff

Chad TeVelde, Professional Engineer

Chad is AGPROfessionals’ senior engineer.  He is a Professional Civil Engineer registered in California, Colorado, Oregon and Oklahoma and is a certified TSP provider with NRCS.  He has 10 years experience in civil and structural design of agricultural facilities, environmental & regulatory compliance for agricultural operations, and waste management plans.  Prior to 2002, Chad owned and operated a dairy in Nebraska and California.

Elliot DeJongh, E.I.T.

Elliot has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Colorado State University, Colorado and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Dordt College, Iowa.  While this training, combined with his agricultural background, enables him to work primarily in the engineering department, he also has experience with implementing NPDES Phase II storm water management requirements.  In addition, he has worked as an aquaculturist specializing in production of freshwater and marine organisms for aquatic toxicology and biomonitoring.  He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers.

Agronomics & Environmental Staff

Janine Baratta, Certified Crop Advisor

Janine has 19 years of experience as a consultant/educator with Maryland Cooperative Extension and with AGPROfessionals in the fields of agronomy and environmental compliance for large animal operations.  She has a BS degree in animal science from Oregon State University and an MS degree in agronomy from the University of Maryland, has studied agricultural systems in New Zealand, is a Certified Crop Advisor, and has a class D certification as a wastewater operator.

Lindsay Sartorius, Regulatory Consultant

Lindsay is also responsible for coordinating the On-Point ™ Advantage program and is AGPRO’s in-house specialist for the permitting and compliance program for composting and waste-to-energy facilities. She has both a B.S and M.S. from Colorado State University.  She has been actively involved in agriculture her whole life.   Lindsay has been a Regulatory Consultant working for AGPRO in the field with producers since 2007. 

Sarah Mundy, Agricultural Consultant

Sarah is currently the Agricultural Consultant for AGPRO, where she conducts Advantage Program inspections, ASTM Phase I site assessments, coordinates regulatory inspections, and conducts site specific soil exploration and investigative inquiries.   She has a degree in Agricultural Economics.  She grew up on a family farm in Virginia raising broilers, beef cattle and sheep.
