In September 2026, AGPROfessionals Vice President of Communications and Strategic Planning, Karen Gerfen Glueck, attended the 2026 Republican National Committee (RNC) Midterm Convention in Dallas, Texas. Gerfen Glueck joined representatives from AG Women Connect (AWC) and Bienvenido USA for an event that highlighted national policy priorities, including issues affecting American agriculture and rural communities.
The group had the extraordinary opportunity to be seated in the front row, directly behind President Donald Trump, during the convention.
AGPROfessionals extends its sincere appreciation to Bienvenido USA and AG Women Connect for the opportunity to participate in this important national gathering and connect with individuals and organizations engaged in conversations about America's future.
Agriculture at the RNC
Agricultural policy and the challenges facing American farmers and ranchers were discussed during the convention. U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Brooke Rollins addressed the administration's agricultural priorities, including food prices and the economic pressures facing producers.
Additional policy discussions around the 2026 midterm elections have focused on tax relief, regulatory reform, energy costs, agricultural trade, and the need to advance a new Farm Bill. These issues have significant implications for livestock producers, rural businesses, and the future of American food production.
For AGPROfessionals, staying engaged in national policy conversations is an important part of understanding the legislative and regulatory developments that affect agricultural operations, private property rights, and rural communities.
Supporting Women in Agriculture Through AG Women Connect
AGPROfessionals is a proud sponsor of AG Women Connect, a national organization founded by Venessa Wood and dedicated to connecting, empowering, and supporting women throughout the agricultural industry.
Gerfen Glueck serves as an AWC Ambassador and member of the AWC Advisory Council, helping advance the organization's mission of strengthening agricultural leadership, education, networking, and policy engagement. AWC provides opportunities for women to share their stories, develop leadership skills, build professional relationships, and advocate for the future of agriculture. Its charitable foundation also supports agricultural families affected by natural disasters and provides scholarships for young people pursuing careers in agriculture.
