I decided to attend Yale Law School because I figured the intimate class size here at Yale Law would allow me to get to know my peers better, my professors better. Get additional attention than I would have otherwise at another school. And because of the intimate class size and prestige that Yale Law has in the legal profession I figured this would be a great place to enact a lot of the changes that I see and that I want in the world and one example of that is being a part LEAP Program, the Law, Ethics, and Animals Program, and really making sure that animal law is front and center in the legal landscape. And what better place than Yale Law to make this happen. One of my favorite things about Yale Law is that you get to be in clinics right from the get go. Your second semester at Yale Law, you're already involved in clinics at whichever level you want. What I decided to do was get involved in the Environmental Protection Clinic and so in my second semester I was able to advocate on behalf of the causes that I truly cared most about. First and foremost I hope to make life long friendships with my peers that I go to school with. Hopefully I have a lot of connections with the professors that I really admire. I think most importantly I want to make Yale Law a better place than it was when I got here. I think given the intimate class size and how much faculty care about what students think. I think Yale Law is the perfect place to do that. One example of that is being involved in animal law, society, being involved in the LEAP program, the Law, Ethics, and Animals Program, which I think is going to do tremendous things for animals across the country in the legal sphere.
