Project Development Makes Way for Construction for AGPROfessionals’ Fort Lupton Client
AGPROfessionals was proud to attend the November 20, 2025, groundbreaking ceremony with our client, Triple P Services, as they take the next step in establishing their new business location in Fort Lupton, Colorado. Representing AGPROfessionals at the event were Planning Manager Kelsey Bruxvoort and Professional Engineer Austin Kerbs. Also in attendance were the builders, Harris Constructors, and members of the Fort Lupton Chamber of Commerce and the Fort Lupton Economic Development Council.
A Multidisciplinary Approach
AGPROfessionals’ partnership with this oil and gas support service trucking company began several years ago, shortly after Triple P Services purchased the approximately 35-acre Heavy Industrial (I-2) zoned parcel. The project has involved contributions from our Planning and Permitting, Engineering, and Surveying teams.
Triple P Services operates as a construction contractor, pipe fitting fabricator, oil and gas support service provider, and trucking business. The development of the new site will support the company’s continued growth and expand its operational reach in Northern Colorado. From the start, this effort has exemplified how AGPROfessionals’ multidisciplinary teams work together to help clients overcome complex challenges and move confidently toward their goals.
Starting with Land Use, Planning, and Permitting
Triple P Services first engaged AGPROfessionals to lead the Land Entitlements process, which included completing a Site Plan Review (SPR) and negotiating an Improvements Agreement and Right-of-Way (ROW) dedication.
Our Planning team worked closely with the Fort Lupton Planning and Public Works departments and the Fort Lupton Fire Protection District to secure approval of the SPR and building permits, which allow the site to be used for the company’s oil and gas services operations and construction of a new 25,000-square-foot shop, with planned future additions including a 2,500-square-foot office and a 12,500-square-foot maintenance shop.
The dedication of the ROW will provide the client with a new, separate space to support both future development opportunities and long-term financial flexibility.
Taking Shape with Engineering
Triple P Services partnered with AGPROfessionals’ Engineering and Survey team for civil, structural, and railroad crossing engineering services. Specifically, we provided:
- Overall site design
- Building elevations and landscape design
- Frontage road extension design and engineering
- Grading and drainage
- Water line design
- Septic system design
- Off-site waterline extension and railroad boring
- Improvement Survey Plat
- Construction Staking
Our team also delivered structural engineering for the interior finishes of the new 25,000-square-foot pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) that Harris Constructors will erect. Throughout the process, our engineers provided continuous coordination with Harris, responding to RFIs (Requests for Information) and conducting submittal reviews.
The 12-inch water main extension and required boring beneath the Union Pacific Railroad tracks will establish a connection between the existing Fort Lupton dry waterline and the City’s municipal distribution system, enabling potable water service to the site.
Next Steps for Triple P Services
Seeing a project reach the construction stage after years of planning, design, and coordination is always rewarding, and we’re excited to see this next chapter unfold for Triple P Services.
Much has already been accomplished at the new Fort Lupton location, and visible site improvements are now underway. The design for the client’s new office building is currently in development as this project continues to evolve.
